QA Engineer
Vox Teneo develops complex web applications and integration solutions that require in-depth understanding of business needs, information technologies and user experience.
We are looking for a QA engineer to join our friendly team, situated in Wavre, Limal.
Requirements
You’ll be our expert in testing web and mobile applications. You have an excellent eye for detail and analytical superpowers. Thinking outside the box comes naturally to you. Join our motivated, friendly, young and dynamic team and work on exciting and challenging projects, for “big name” clients.
- Minimum 3 years of QA experience with web-based applications
- IT Bachelor’s Degree or master's degree or experience equivalent
- High level of IT literacy and knowledge of SDLC
- Experience with an automated test tool (Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO and Programming Languages: C#, Groovy, JS)
- Experience with load, stress, volume testing in .NET based infrastructure.
- Experience of specific tools and processes used in web software testing
- Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance
- Ability to define test cases from functional requirements and review the reports
- Expert in cross browser/environment testing
- Behavior-driven development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- French and English (verbal and written)
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
- An aptitude for ongoing learning and ability to develop skill sets
- Professional, positive and results oriented approach
Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in software quality improvement for our customers:
- Establish complete automation testing processes
- Identification of test scenarios for web site solutions produced by the team
- Write test plans and perform functional, standards and cross-browser compliance testing
- Identify and document all system errors
- Maintain a repository of system test plans
- Ensure all work meets customer expectations and departmental quality standards
- Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards, and processes
- Take ownership for and maintaining user documentation
- Communicate test results, as well as any errors or issues discovered during testing
- Identify, investigate, report and track bugs to closure
- Handle multiple projects with changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Take part in the planning and implementation of the testing and quality strategy for new and existing projects
